Expressway underpass too narrow, Noida plans flyover to link sectors 148, 150

The Noida Authority is planning a 500-metre-long flyover on the Noida Expressway to improve connectivity between Sectors 148, 149, 150, 151, 152 and 153. The proposed project is estimated to cost around ₹85 crore and is aimed at making cross-expressway movement easier for residents and commuters.

The need for the flyover comes from the limitations of the existing underpass, which is relatively narrow and can become difficult to navigate during busy hours. Waterlogging during the monsoon can also disrupt traffic movement.

The project is expected to benefit around two lakh people living in these sectors and nearby villages. The area is also witnessing significant residential development, particularly around Sector 150, along with planned sports facilities and other infrastructure.

For the Noida real estate market, improved connectivity could make these sectors more accessible for residents, homebuyers and daily commuters. Better road infrastructure is often an important factor when people evaluate residential locations.

However, the actual impact will depend on the project's execution, completion timeline and traffic integration with the existing road network.
