The Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE)–Yamuna Expressway interchange in Greater Noida is expected to open before Diwali, giving a major boost to connectivity around the Yamuna Expressway corridor. According to YEIDA officials, around 80% of the construction work has been completed, with the remaining work expected to finish by October 15 before trials and final approval.
The cloverleaf interchange near Jaganpur-Afzalpur, around 10 km from the Yamuna Expressway’s Zero Point, will create a direct connection between the EPE and Yamuna Expressway. At present, motorists often take a longer route through Sirsa village and Bil Akbarpur, adding travel time to their journeys.
The project is particularly significant for the Noida International Airport and Yamuna Expressway region, as it will improve access towards Palwal, Kundli, Ghaziabad and Meerut.
For the real estate market, improved road connectivity can strengthen the attractiveness of emerging locations by reducing travel time and improving accessibility. However, property buyers should consider connectivity alongside RERA status, project approvals, location, pricing and developer credibility.
The project covers 83 hectares and includes four entry and four exit ramps with a combined length of about 13 km.
