RRTS first train set is ready.

From Delhi to Meerut, much work is being done quickly on a high-speed rail line. Preparation for this dream of making it happen by 2024 is done. People think that the project’s first phase will start in 2023. On May 7, the delivery of its new, modern coach will start. It will arrive in Ghaziabad by May 14, and it will be ready for use then.

He said that Vinay Kumar Singh, the CEO of the NCRTC, noted that “We have done everything we need to do. Many people are excited about the new trains that will soon have these coaches in front of them. Our work is moving quickly. Make rapid rail as soon as we can. People of all walks of life can ride, and they can do so with more ease.”

The first train set for India’s first RRTS line has been built. A ceremony will be held on May 7, 2022. The Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, India, will be present. The NCRTC will get the money on that day.

Under the “Make in India” initiative, these high-tech RRTS trains are made in India at Alstom’s factory in Savli, Gujarat.

Alstom will hand over the trains to NCRTC when they do. They will bring them on big trailers to the Duhai depot, built quickly to run the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor in Ghaziabad. This depot is nearing the end of constructing everything that will help these trains run and be maintained.

Alstom, which used to be Bombardier, has a handover ceremony on Saturday at their factory. The RRTS trainset keys will be given to the NCRTC.

First, the govt had recently shown RRTS trains and their computer-based features in Ghaziabad, India. They were unveiled on March 16, 2022, at Duhai Depot. Design speed: 180 km/h, 160 km/h, and an average speed of 100 km/h. These RRTS trains are going to be the fastest in India ever!

These state-of-the-art RRTS trains have ergonomically designed 2×2 transverse cushioned seats, much space for standing, a luggage rack, CCTV cameras, laptop/mobile charging, a dynamic route map, automatic ambient lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and more. Systems (HVAC) and other places. Air-conditioned RRTS trains will have one coach for standard and female passengers and one for people who want to pay more for a better seat (one coach per train).

Alstom’s factory in Savli will first deliver 210 cars for the RRTS line. For regional transportation services between Delhi and Ghaziabad and for local metro services in Meerut, this includes train sets.

It will not be long before the RRTS corridor is done because it is being built at full speed. The first test runs on the essential part. As soon as trains arrive this year, it should start. 17 km of a corridor from Sahibabad to Duhai is supposed to be a priority section by 2023. The whole corridor is supposed to be done by 2020.
