The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) plans to develop a 14-acre Central Park in Sector 20, close to Noida International Airport, as residential and commercial activity in the region continues to expand. The park's design and facilities have already been finalised by YEIDA's horticulture department.
The proposed park will include large lawns, landscaped areas, walking pathways, seasonal flower beds, fountains, swings and other recreational facilities. It is expected to provide residents with a dedicated green and recreational space as new residential development comes up in the area.
The development is particularly significant for the Yamuna Expressway property market because the airport region is witnessing increased interest following the start of commercial airport operations. YEIDA officials have also highlighted the potential for stronger logistics, commercial and residential growth in the surrounding areas.
Around 20,000 residential plots have already been allotted in Sectors 18 and 20, indicating the scale of planned development around the airport corridor.
For property buyers and investors, the Central Park is another addition to the region's developing social infrastructure. While such projects can improve liveability, buyers should also evaluate connectivity, project approvals, surrounding development and actual infrastructure timelines before making an investment decision.
