Bengaluru-based Puravankara has entered the Delhi-NCR real estate market with the acquisition of a 13.44-acre land parcel in Greater Noida. The land was acquired for around ₹340 crore and has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of approximately ₹5,200 crore.
The parcel has an estimated 4.57 million sq ft of saleable potential and was acquired through an e-auction conducted by DMIC Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Ltd. The company plans to use the opportunity to establish its presence in one of NCR’s rapidly developing real-estate markets.
Puravankara said Greater Noida offers a combination of scale, infrastructure momentum and long-term demand, making it an attractive market for the company’s expansion strategy. Sources indicate that the land is expected to be used primarily for premium high-rise residential development.
The move adds to the growing interest of major developers in Greater Noida, where infrastructure expansion and increasing residential demand are encouraging new investments.
For homebuyers, the entry of established developers can increase the range of housing options available in the market. However, buyers should still compare projects based on location, approvals, connectivity, specifications, pricing and the developer’s track record.
