The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is planning a 31-km, eight-lane elevated road along the Yamuna Pushta, creating an alternative route between Noida and the Noida International Airport corridor. The proposed road will connect the area near Okhla Barrage and Sector 94 with Greater Noida's Chi-IV.
The project is designed to provide another high-speed connection towards the airport and reduce dependence on the existing Noida Expressway. The proposed alignment will run parallel to the Yamuna embankment through several important Noida sectors before merging with the Yamuna Expressway.
According to officials, the NHAI consultant is preparing a detailed project report, while Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna authorities are working on land-acquisition requirements. The corridor is planned with multiple loops to improve connectivity with areas along the route.
The proposed infrastructure could be important for the broader Noida–Greater Noida–Yamuna Expressway real estate market. Better road connectivity can improve accessibility to residential and commercial districts and strengthen links with the airport.
However, infrastructure announcements do not automatically translate into property appreciation. Buyers should assess actual project progress, location, approvals, connectivity and surrounding development before making decisions.
