Greater Noida के Sector 18 में रहने वाले और प्लॉट खरीदने वाले हजारों लोगों के लिए infrastructure development को लेकर बड़ा अपडेट सामने आया है। Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) ने सेक्टर में सर्विस रोड बनाने के लिए निविदा जारी की है। यह सड़क सेक्टर की मौजूदा 45 मीटर चौड़ी सड़क के समानांतर विकसित की जाएगी।
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, करीब 30,000 से अधिक residential plots Sector 18 और Sector 20 में आवंटित किए जा चुके हैं। हालांकि, अभी मौके पर लगभग 2,000 मकान ही तैयार हुए हैं। अधूरी आंतरिक सड़कों के कारण कई आवंटियों को निर्माण सामग्री प्लॉट तक पहुंचाने में परेशानी हो रही थी।
नई सर्विस रोड Sector 18 के नौ pockets में विकसित की जाएगी। इससे construction vehicles की आवाजाही आसान होने और निर्माण कार्य में तेजी आने की उम्मीद है। YEIDA इसके अलावा क्षेत्र में अन्य सड़क और sewer infrastructure projects पर भी काम कर रहा है।
Sector 18 का development Noida International Airport और Yamuna Expressway corridor के व्यापक infrastructure expansion के बीच महत्वपूर्ण है। बेहतर internal connectivity से residential plots तक पहुंच और construction activity दोनों को सुविधा मिल सकती है।
