On March 8, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is coming to Noida to lay the foundation for some of the most important projects, including the modern Microsoft campus in Sector 145 in Noida. This marks a significant milestone for the IT and infrastructure development of the city.

One of the key highlights of his visit revolves around laying the foundation stone for Microsoft's new forthcoming campus, to be constructed on a five acres plot in Sector 145. The project is expected to further improve Noida's position as one of the leading IT cities in India.

Inauguration of IT Projects in Sector 132

Yogi Adityanath would inaugurate buildings of two IT firms, MAQ and Sify, in Noida's Sector 132, apart from the Microsoft campus. The inauguration of these projects further establishes Noida's growing popularity as one of the best locations for IT and technology companies.

Infrastructure Development in Noida

Besides the IT sector developments, the chief minister would also lay the foundation of two underpasses on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. These underpasses will aim to facilitate the traffic flow and connect important areas of the city.

Furthermore, the Noida Authority has made the announcement regarding the launch of the Ganga Water Project meant to supply high-quality drinking water to residential sectors along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. The worthy ₹228 crore project, with a capacity of 37.5 cusecs, is supposed to supply water from Ganga to sectors 130 and 135. The inauguration of a tertiary treatment plant designed for 200 million liters per day capacity is also due.

Increasing Water Supply in Noida

The current total demand for water in Noida stands at 332 million liters per day (MLD). Now, 240 MLD of water is being supplied from the Ganga, while the remaining demand is being sourced from groundwater. The authority has been supplying water to more than 130 residential sectors and intends to extend the Ganga water supply to about 50 other residential sectors by the end of 2024.

Sectors awaiting Ganga water supply include Sectors 94, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 135, 150, 151-these are located between the Yamuna embankment road and the Noida Expressway. Once the additional Ganga waters are assured, the sectors will be inducted into the supply network.

Public Gathering in Dadri

Yogi Adityanath would also be attending a public gathering at Greater Noida Dadri, where he would unveil a statue of Maharana Pratap. The mega event is expected to attract public interest in huge numbers and participation.
